The Best Restaurants in Owosso
I’ve eaten at places around the world and the phrase, “there’s no place like home”has never rang more true. On this episode of Home Field Advantage, I am going to give you a taste of the best eats Owosso has to offer. I cover everything from my favorite coffee place to my go to dinner spot. I hope you’re hungry!
It’s morning time, I’m tired, half asleep, my first stop to get my morning pick me up is Foster Coffee. This place is the cure to any late nights I have and is the perfect way to start my day. It’s also a great spot to just hang out, maybe even get some work done. Or, if you’re one of those weird people who like to sit without a phone or laptop and read, this could be a great spot for you too! Foster has the best coffee and tea that Owosso has to offer. Now that my coffee fix has been had, it’s time for breakfast.
Hot Momma! That’s my go to sandwich at Itsa Deli Thing and the reason I keep going back. They say breakfast is the most important meal of the day, and with that being true, you want to make sure you do it right. At Itsa Deli Thing, it’s impossible to screw up. This place has a wide variety of breakfast foods that will power you all the way through lunch and enable you to get some work done...or maybe send you into a food coma.
After working up an appetite again, I head over to Greg and Lou’s Restaurant for some home cooking. This place is a family style spot that serves top notch food in means of taste and quality. Its cozy diner feel makes it stand out from the other competition in Owosso and is what makes it one of my favorites.
Finally, dinner. If you know me, you know that I have a taste for the finer things in life, like craft beer. So after work, I head over to one of Owosso’s trendiest restaurants, Wrought Iron Grill. This place has endless drink options which makes it easy to try new things and switch it up. Having a delicious cold and tasty beer with dinner after a long day is amazing, but doing it with Wrought Iron Grill’s atmosphere, makes it perfect.
Now you too can eat your way through Owosso and see that we have more to offer than just the castle. If you’ve been to Owosso, or you’re a native, let me know your favorite food spots in the comments below! Catch you next time on the next episode of Home Field Advantage.
